Andy Moir: Project Supervisor. Lives in Freeport, Digby County. Andy has 30 years experience in newspaper, radio, and television writing and producing. Andy was senior producer of The Journal on CBC television, and as Executive Producer for First Edition, the CBC supperhour news for Nova Scotia. He and his wife Christine Callaghan operate a Bed and Breakfast in Freeport, and publish a monthly newsletter for Long and Brier Island. |

Robert Hersey: Robert is the project organizer for the Elder Transcripts and was successful in obtaining funding from the Millennium Partnership Fund and the Municipality of Digby. Mr. Hersey is employed by the Municipality as a heritage officer for the Municipal Heritage Property program. Over the past 2 1/2 years this progam has identified and researched over 250 potential heritage properties in the district. Like the Elder Transcripts, this research is a valuable resource that communities can use to better understand their history. |

Christine Callaghan: Field Supervisor. Chris worked for four and a half years in the Film and Sound Department of the Public Archives of Nova Scotia. Her work there included content-reporting oral history interviews, in particular those collected by Ron Caplan for Cape Breton's Magazine. Then she worked for six years at CBC Television as a researcher/producer for the documentary series Land & Sea. Chris now lives in Freeport. |

Cindy Graham: Field Researcher, Cindy was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but moved to the Digby Neck at age 21 in 1978, living first in Lake Midway, and now in Waterford. She was married to a lobster fisherman from a large Digby Neck family for 17 years. She and her husband lobster fished together and raised three children. In recent years, Cindy did organizational work for the Bay of Fundy Inshore Fishermens Association, and now leads 6 day bike tours in Nova Scotia and PEI with Vermont Bicycle Tours from June to October. She is happy to be home again for the fall and winter, and looking forward to adding to her arsenal of good tales to tell. |

Susan Amero: Researcher/Interviewer. Susan was born and raised in Digby. She now lives in Seabrook, on Digby Neck with her husband and two sons. She worked on the local newspaper after leaving school. She has been a stay-at-home-mom for 22 years. She prides herself on knowing the history and people in the area. |

Jennifer Whalen: Researcher/Interviewer. Jennifer was born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She is a recent graduate of a two year Radio and Television Arts Program at Kingstec Community College specializing in Television Technical. She also has a strong interest in the performance side of television and has had the oppertunity to sing and act throughout the province for several years. She looks forward to working on this project with great anticipation. |
